While our name, CCMS Partners, may be new to you, we are familiar as leaders conducting executive searches for non-profit organizations. Each of us was an executive at DCM Associates and has conducted numerous executive searches.

Meet The Partners

Michael Shriver

Michael Shriver has extensive experience in nonprofit and for-profit sectors, specializing in supporting individuals with disabilities. He has served as the CEO of several nonprofit organizations during his career. He is known for his leadership, diverse background, and expertise in areas like organizational financial management, strategic planning, and leadership development. Mike is a graduate of the National Leadership Institute from the University of Delaware, a certified John Maxwell Team Member in Leadership Coaching, and a DOL/ODEP NEON Project subject matter expert.

Terry Cahill

Terry Cahill brings a wealth of experience from various roles in social work, healthcare leadership, and academia. Driven by a focus on leadership, management, and research, he holds an EdD in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University and an MPA in Health Care Leadership from Rutgers University. Dr. Cahill has been recognized for academic excellence and service, earning Lifetime Fellow status from the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Additionally, Terry has provided executive coaching and leadership consulting services for more than twenty years.

Joe Costa

Joseph Costa brings more than 35 years of experience in guiding nonprofit organizations. Previously the CEO of Hillsides in Los Angeles, he enhanced services, obtained national accreditation, and held key positions in the child welfare sector. Currently, Costa serves as an independent consultant for nonprofits, providing executive support services and strategic planning. He holds master’s degrees in divinity and social work and is a Certified Interim Executive Director.

Jim McGuirk

Jim McGuirk has a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Albany, Albany, NY, and has extensive experience in executive coaching and nonprofit consultation. He served as CEO of Astor Services for Children & Families, growing the organization and implementing innovative programs. Dr. McGuirk prioritizes family-driven care, diversity, and inclusion. He is well-respected in the field, serving on various committees and boards. He was President of the New York State Coalition for Children’s Behavioral Health and a founding board member of two Health Homes serving children in NYS, the Collaborative for Children and Families (CCF) and the Children’s Health Home of Upstate New York.
